2015 Ford F-150 pricing announced, new aluminum additions show small increase in cost
Despite the heavy use of aluminum, the new 2015 Ford F-150 pricing will not change that drastically. Concerns about the switch to a lightweight and more expensive metal certainly arose after Ford announced their big plans for the F-150, but we’re in luck—the change won’t affect the prices…too much.
The highest increase in price is $3,515, but that belongs to the leather-intensive King Ranch. $26,615 will get you the XL and the XLT ropes in a clean $31,890. Dramatic changes in the makeup of the truck and yet the prices only rise $395. Maybe this will convert some critics and further reassure the Ford faithful—but nonetheless, Ford has done well.
