Another successful turnout for the Quirk Toys for Tots drive!
Quirk Ford in Quincy was visited by some friendly men in red today, and just in time before Christmas. But no – it wasn’t the jolly Santa himself, but instead three kind Quincy firefighters stopped in to collect toys for the Toys for Tots program sponsored by Quirk Ford. At first, we thought they might be interested in trading in their fire truck for a brand new Mustang, but after much hard negotiating, we decided to wait to make a deal after the new year. You never know, a fire truck could prove useful, if only we could figure out how to operate the massive thing…
Anyway, as we waited for the rest of the faculty to join for a photo shoot, some funny Christmas morning stories were exchanged beside the overflowing truck bed of toys of a new white F-150. It was a short and pleasant visit, and a nice reminder that the holiday spirit of giving lives on. Thumbing through the large selection of toys donated by staff members and customers brought back memories for some. From Barbies to Lion King stuffed animals to skateboards to board games to a centerpiece bicycle, it was pretty exciting that these kids are in for quite a selection. Everyone was really proud and happy to be a part of something that was helping others in the holidays.
Quirk Ford, as well as everyone else in the Quirk Auto Group organization appreciates the supportive New England community over the years and is proud to be able to give back. We would like to say thank you to everyone that participated in the drive and wish that everyone has a safe and happy holiday season and new year.
